GARGAN
Gargan is an experimental electronic duo from Iceland, working with field recordings, repurposed clarinet sounds, coding, synthesizers, household objects, and improvisation. Deep listening shapes our practice, exploring how sonic landscapes reveal what thrives or fades in an environment. We build new sound worlds from existing places, highlighting the interplay between nature and the industrial.
SÖVN record release - CatPurse
CATPURSE, primarily exploring creative coding techniques via SuperCollider, embraces phantom footprints of the grotesque world around us. Taking a genre-agnostic approach, CATPURSE manifests as a sonic chimera in the experimental domain. Pop culture echoes intertwine with collective human murmurs, where physical sensation of taste, smell and touch – dissolves into deformed resonances. This album isn’t just documenting a journey – it’s about the strange disconnection of being an observer in a fabricated paradise.

Marginal Notes on a Body Slipping Away
Marginal Notes on a Body Slipping Away was a collaborative master’s-level project at the Theatre Academy in Helsinki. The group consisted of students from stage design, dance, directing, dramaturgy, lighting design, and costume design. I composed the music for the production. The performance is based on a Persian manuscript that recounts the stories of individuals who have expressed political opposition to the authorities in Iran.
